- Is this recorded or streamed online?
- No. GEO is a closed-door, in-person-only event — no recordings, no livestream, no public replays. Everything that happens in the room stays in the room. It's part of why the dialogue is unusually candid.
- How do I pick up my badge?
- Your badge with your name on it will be ready for pick-up at check-in. There is no QR code or confirmation email to show — if you registered and paid, you're in the system. Please bring a photo ID.
- Can I attend without a ticket?
- No. Those without paid registration will not be permitted inside the room. Tickets are first-come, first-served based on room capacity — once we sell out, that's it.
- Will I be able to meet the speakers?
- Yes. GEO is intentionally small enough that you can actually talk to the people on stage. Most speakers stay for the full day and are accessible during breaks, lunch, and the open networking at the end.
- What's the dress code?
- Comfortable and conference-casual. Most attendees are in business casual — no need to dress up, though dressing up is fine too.
- Is there a hotel room block?
- No. There is no official hotel room block — you're welcome to stay anywhere convenient. There are plenty of options near the venue.
- Is food included?
- Yes. Lunch is included for all attendees. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
- Is there WiFi at the venue?
- Yes. WiFi is available throughout the venue. There are also nearby spaces if you need to step out for a call or quick meeting.
- Who is the pre-event dinner for?
- The pre-event dinner (the evening of Monday, December 8) is exclusively for confirmed speakers and sponsors. It is not open to general attendees.
- What airports should I fly into?
- Fort Mason Center is in San Francisco's beautiful Marina District. SFO is the recommended airport (~30 mins by car or rideshare). Alternatively, take the BART train to get you to downtown SF, then a short rideshare to the venue. Oakland (OAK) is ~45–55 min by car and often has cheaper fares. San Jose (SJC) is not recommended.
